Questions and Answers
Q
I am interested in coming to the classes. I can appreciate the practices, as a method or science for transformation. Though I don’t want to get involved in anything religious, though I am open to humanitarian ideas. I also am not interested in “belonging” to a group or an organisation, or “following” anything or anyone external to myself. I have been down this route before, and this no longer feels true for me. Also within a spiritual organisations I have been involved in, there has been a feeling of an “us” and therefore a “them” and this for me is already a duality! So again this does not feel true in my heart.. However I do also acknowledge and appreciate the support friendship and guidance of like minded people on the path.. Do you think the classes are for me?
I resonate deeply with what you are saying. I think this feeling you are talking about is ringing true with many of us on the spiritual path at this time..
The new spiritual awareness coming to our planet (I feel) is calling for this very truth. This is something non religious- though is more spiritual in essence.
In response to your question, I would say..
The only thing to belong to is Mother Earth/ the Universe
The community or sangha is All of Humanity,
...And the only thing to be guided, to follow, is the Truth in your own heart.
There is room in the world for each of us to explore our own personal and unique paths, and it is crucial that we trust ourselves and have the courage to do so.
If this resonates with you, then you will enjoy the classes very much I am sure. I feel that this is the view of most (if not all) of the people who are coming to these sessions..
At eye-level, we gather and practice together, as friends, in this truth of oneness..
Though I want to say that for people who are involved with a particular religion or spiritual organisation, (please include yourselves in All of Humanity!) The practices that we do will help you to reveal the deeper truths of your respective religion/organisation..and enhance whatever it is that you are already doing.. The practices are simply tools for transformation. And are not something to become identified with or attached to.
( I feel) this also includes not getting attached or identified with any particular vision. No matter how free or liberating it may be..
....better to be a living example of truth yourself.
